My board of directors and I are raising money for the construction of a group home in Northeast Florida for foster girls that have aged out of the foster system. These young women face so many challenges once they reach their 18 birthday and are faced with the prospect of homelessness.
Our goal is to receive 10 donations every day for the next 100 days. There is a suggested dollar amount designated for each day. If we have 100 percent participation, we can raise more than $250,000!
We are on schedule with the utility company to have electric power installed this Spring, and we hope to begin the permitting process this Summer!
