Closing the Deal & Walking the Land
August 18, 2021 represented the culmination of 11 years of prayer and a dream come true! That’s the day we signed the papers, acquired the title deed and became landowners. God provided us with a piece of property that is perfectly situated and will be the ideal location for Sisterhood Of Servants’ group living facility for foster girls that have aged out of the foster care system. The property is completely undeveloped, so we have a blank canvas on which to execute our vision. Let the work begin!

Land Clearing & Garden Development (phase 1)
The process of getting our property cleared and ready for planting has been long and arduous, but we have made such good progress. From clearing 1.5 acres of the property, putting in an access driveway, installing a well pump, and pulling up more tree roots that I can count, we are well on our way to developing this land into something really special.
VOLUNTEERS
A project of this magnitude requires many hands to move forward. I am thankful for every person that played a part in helping us execute the vision we have for NorthPointe Acres. Were it not for faithful, hardworking volunteers, the progress you see displayed in the photos would never have been achieved.

PLANTING A GARDEN
The videos above show the progress that has been made since we purchased the property. What a transformation from wild woods to garden paradise! The landscape is a color wheel design. Each 20×100′ section of the garden represents a color of the rainbow. When all the plants are in bloom, the space will be absolutely stunning! A large section of the front 3.5 acres has also been cleared for a special events venue. We also plan to use our floral, fruit, and vegetable sales to provide a steady stream of income to support the maintenance of our residential group living facility that will be constructed on the property. There will also be plenty of garden maintenance opportunities for those who want to volunteer their time to support the ministry of Sisterhood Of Servants. This is such a lovely place — filled with perfect little nooks scattered throughout the 3-1/2 acre expanse that invite book reading, play time, bible study, contemplation, and relaxation. So, if you’re just curious or are looking for a midweek or Saturday morning outing, pack up your friends and kids, bring a picnic lunch and venture out to NorthPointe. I’ll make sure the canopies are up and the butterflies are ready. ~Phylicia
