For the past 3 years, S.O.S. board members, their families, donors, and volunteers have gathered together the 3rd weekend in May to celebrate God's blessings of the previous year. S.O.S. has grown every year since its incorporation in May 2010. We are especially thankful for a successful year of S.O.S. Girls ministry in Jacksonville, Florida, and we continue to prepare for our ministry to the bush families of Chipata, Zambia, Africa this summer. In addition to great food and fellowship, banquet guests were treated to a live musical performance by Strings and Harmony Chamber Ensemble. The group debuted selections from the musical cd called The Sounds of Sisterhood, which will be released nationwide spring 2014. The cd will be used as a promotional and awareness tool to highlight our ongoing work in Zambia. Ensemble members capped off the weekend of celebration by spending a full day at A1A production studios recording music for the cd. We are blessed!
